Delete your data

Luther — Mikhail Dubrovskii IE · Last updated: 14 September 2026

You can erase your Luther account and everything in it at any time, or remove single pieces of it and keep the account. Both are described below.

Delete the whole account — takes effect immediately

  1. Open Luther and go to the Profile tab.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Tap Delete account, read what will be deleted, tick the box and confirm twice.

Delete part of your data, keep the account

You do not have to erase everything to remove something. Inside the app you can delete these on their own:

  1. A conversation — open the Chat tab, tap the ⋮ menu beside it and choose Delete.
  2. A diary entry — open Library → Diary, tap the entry and then the trash icon.

The item disappears from the app at once and cannot be restored from it. Within two days it is erased from our database for good, and the nightly backups that still hold a copy rotate out within a week after that.

By request — if you don't have the app

Send an email from the address your account is registered to, so we can tell it is really you. Put “Delete my data” in the subject, and say whether you want the whole account gone or only part of it.

deeptalk.support.help@gmail.com

We complete deletion within 30 days of receiving the request, usually the same day, and reply to confirm when it is done.

What gets deleted with the account

Deleted permanentlyKept
Your email address and account identifiers · profile (name, age range, gender, intake note) · all conversations with the AI and voice transcripts · photos you sent · psychological test answers and results · mood check-ins · diary entries · exercise and programme progress · achievements · what Luther remembers about you, including its earlier versions · notification token Anonymised transaction records — the fact that a payment happened, kept for accounting. They carry no name, email or account identifier and cannot be traced back to you.

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. There is no grace period and no backup copy we restore from. If you sign up again later with the same email address, you get a brand-new empty account — the old history does not return.

Your subscription

Deleting the account does not cancel a paid subscription — Google Play manages that separately. Cancel it in Google Play → Subscriptions before deleting, otherwise billing continues.
